ezyVet Go shows a client selection error for an appointment type

Do this troubleshooting if ezyVet Go shows You need to have a client selected for <appointment type> appointments when you try to sync.
Note: ezyVet Go shows the name of the appointment type in the <appointment type> text. For example, the error message could show You need to have a client selected for Consult (15 Mins) appointments.

A new appointment does not have a client selected

A new appointment of an appointment type that uses a mandatory client contact record does not have a client selected.

Make the necessary selection in ezyVet Go

  1. Find and open the applicable appointment.
  2. Select the applicable client.
  3. Try to sync ezyVet Go again.

Do these steps in ezyVet.

  1. Select Dashboard.

  2. Select Calendar.

    ezyVet shows the calendar.
  3. Find the applicable appointment in the calendar.
  4. Open a shortcut menu for the appointment and select Edit Appointment.

  5. Use the Client box to select a different contact record.
  6. Use the Client box to select the different contact record of step 5 back to the correct contact record.
  7. Select Save.

  8. Try to sync ezyVet Go again.
