ezyVet Go shows a patient selection error for an appointment type

Do this troubleshooting if ezyVet Go shows You need to have an animal selected for <appointment type> appointments when you try to sync.
Note: ezyVet Go shows the name of the appointment type in the <appointment type> text. For example, the error message could show You need to have an animal selected for Consult (15 Mins) appointments.

A new appointment does not have a patient selected

A new appointment of an appointment type that uses a mandatory patient record does not have a patient selected.

Make the necessary selection

  1. Find and open the applicable appointment.
  2. Select the applicable patient.
  3. Try to sync ezyVet Go again.
