Checks and information for a new feature request

Before you make a feature request, it is important to know the information that you must include in the feature request. ezyVet uses the information to make decisions about the feature request (for example, a decision about if the feature is necessary).

Make sure that the ezyVet software does not have the feature. Or make sure that ezyVet does not have a feature that has the same function. To make sure:
  • Do a check of the ezyVet documentation
  • Do a check of the release notes
  • Speak to ezyVet customer support
Make sure that the feature request has:
  • Good information that ezyVet can use to easily know why the feature request is necessary
  • Information about how the feature can help other persons and organizations who use ezyVet
Give information about how you think that the feature could operate. For example:
  • The user interface could have a new button
  • ezyVet could have a new report that persons could use to find and export data
  • The Records dashboard tab could have a different filter that helps you quickly and easily find information

Make sure that you include good information about how you would use the feature during work, tasks, and procedures of your organization.

Add a screenshot that shows examples of possible changes to the ezyVet user interface. Use annotations on the screenshot to show the location of possible buttons and other changes.
