ezyVet version 42.7 is available from June 17, 2025.

The eClaims dashboard tab has three new filters that you can use to show claims. You can use:
  • The supplier
  • The claim reference number
  • The policy number

E-Booking system: Added the Guests can cancel their booked appointments setting. If you set Guests can cancel their booked appointments to YES, the Upcoming Appointments section of the online portal shows a cancel button. Clients can use the cancel button to cancel a scheduled appointment.

CareCredit hosted payments: If you use the Send to Patient/Client screen, the Response column of the Transactions tab of the payment can show the status Sent via Email or Sent via Text. Previously, the Response column did not show a status for CareCredit payments.

Windcave integration: The Card brand column of the Transactions tab of a payment record and ezyVet reports can show the Maestro card brand. Previously, ezyVet showed Unknown.

Trupanion: In the Insurance tab of a patient record, the left sidebar does not show completed claims. Previously, the left sidebar showed in-progress claims and completed claims.

Changes to communication tasks for standard of careCopy

This version of ezyVet uses real-time data to calculate the due dates of care services and completed care services. The real-time data helps makes sure that communication tasks send care service messages at the correct days and times.

Communication tasks that you configured before the change to real-time data will possibly send care service messages before the day that you want. To make sure that care service messages send during the correct day:
  1. Open the configuration settings for the applicable communication task
  2. Do a check of the Time Period settings that show in the Communication section
  3. If the first part of the Between setting shows 0 day(s), change it to 1 day(s)
For example, a configured communication task is scheduled to start in the afternoon. The first part of the Between setting shows 0 day(s). To make sure that the communication task sends messages during the next day, changes 0 day(s) to 1 day(s):Example of the Between settings that you must change
Note: It is only necessary to do the communication task checks for care service messages. It is not necessary to do the checks for communication tasks that send appointment reminders.

FixesCopy

Easy clinical notes (pilot feature): ezyVet saves only one SOAP note. Previously, ezyVet could incorrectly save two notes that were the same. For more information, about the pilot feature, go to Pilot feature: Easy Clinical Notes.

Health Status record of a patient record or a clinical record: If you do not include a patient's weight data in the health status records, the Weight column in the Averages table shows 0.00. And the averages for other health statuses in the table calculate correctly. Previously, if there was no weight data, the Averages table did not calculate the other health status averages correctly and showed an error message.
Note: If a patient has more than one health status record and you add weight data for one of the records, the Averages table shows the weight of the patient.
The Appointment Type report shows the correct records for the date range that you select. Previously, the report showed records for incorrect dates.

In the History Log tab of the End Of Day Wizard, CareCredit payments show in a CareCredit column.

When you configure a communication task and select This Or Selected Tasks (Advanced) in the Communication section, ezyVet shows a box to select other communication tasks. Previously ezyVet did not show a box.

Staff must have the necessary user account permissions to use the Records dashboard tab to change a therapeutic record. Previously staff without permissions could make changes to the therapeutic records.

PayJunction terminal payments: In the New Payment screen, if address information is in the Address and Zip boxes, ezyVet does not show a Warning! An empty address field will incur additional costs! message. Previously ezyVet incorrectly showed the message.
