Settings of the Add Treatment pane

When you select a treatment in the Add Treatment pane, Vet Radar shows settings that you can use to configure the treatment.

This table shows information about the settings in the Add Treatment pane:
SettingFunction
NameThe name that identifies the treatment.
Task scheduleThe Task schedule setting controls the scheduled tasks for the treatment. The Task schedule setting has different functions for related conditions.
Condition 1: Task schedule is set to No Tasks.

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar does not schedule a treatment task.

Condition 2: Task schedule is set to Single Task.
  1. You set the Start at setting
  2. You set the Treatment window (each) setting

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar puts one scheduled treatment task in the patient sheet.

Condition 3: Task schedule is set to Repeating Tasks.
  1. You set the Repeating setting
  2. You set the Repeat until setting
  3. You set the Start At setting
  4. You set the Treatment Window (each) setting

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar puts the scheduled treatment tasks in the patient sheet until the time that you selected in step 2.

Start atThe Start at setting controls when the scheduled treatment tasks start. The Start at setting has different functions for related conditions.
Condition 1: Start at is set to now.

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar starts the scheduled treatment task immediately.

Condition 2: Start at is set to date/time.
  1. You select the date
  2. You select the time

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar schedules the treatment task for the selected time.

RepeatingThe Repeating setting controls how frequently the treatment tasks occur. You can select:
  • 5 m
  • 10 m
  • 15 m
  • 20 m
  • 30 m
  • 1 hour
  • 1.5 hours
  • 2 hours
  • 3 hours
  • 4 hours
  • 5 hours
  • 6 hours
  • 8 hours
  • 12 hours
  • 24 hours
  • 36 hours
  • 48 hours
  • 72 hours
Repeat untilThe Repeat until setting controls when recurring treatment tasks stop. The Repeat until setting has different functions for related conditions.
Condition 1: Repeat until is set to discharge.

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar continues to schedule treatment tasks until you discharge the patient.

Condition 2: Repeat until is set to date/time.
  1. You select the date
  2. You select the time

Result: When you add the treatment to the patient sheet, Vet Radar schedules treatment tasks until the selected date and time.

Treatment Window (each)The Treatment Window (each) setting controls the time that staff have to complete a treatment task. Vet Radar uses a box to show the treatment task in the patient sheet. The width of the box identifies the time that staff have to complete the treatment task. You can select:
  • 5 m
  • 10 m
  • 15 m
  • 30 m
  • 1 hour
  • 2 hours
  • 3 hours
  • 4 hours
  • 5 hours
  • 6 hours
  • 12 hours
  • 24 hours
Send billing to ezyVetIf you enable the Send billing to ezyVet setting, Vet Radar sends the invoice information to ezyVet.
Auto CompletedIf you enable the Auto Completed setting, Vet Radar automatically completes the scheduled treatment tasks at the end of the treatment window.
InstructionsEnter text to give other staff more information about the treatment task.
Mark instructions as importantIf you enable the Mark instructions as important setting, Vet Radar puts a flag icon adjacent to the treatment in the patient sheet:
The important notes flag

The flag icon identifies that the treatment has important notes.
