Settings of the Add Custom Product screen

When a practice manager makes a custom product, Vet Radar shows settings that they can use to configure the custom product.

This table gives each setting and its function of the Add Custom Product screen:
SettingFunction
Product NameThe name that identifies the custom product.
Product TypeThis setting identifies the type of treatment. You can select:
  • IV Fluids
  • Medication
  • Observation
  • Standard
  • Vaccination
Note: If you select Medication, Vet Radar shows more settings that you can use to configure the custom product.
Sheet GroupVet Radar uses sheet groups to put related treatments in a group.
Clinical Record Note MappingThe records that Vet Radar syncs a custom product's values and notes to in ezyVet. You can select:
  • Hospital Notes
  • Health Status
  • Physical Exams
  • Assessments
  • In Clinic Notes
  • None
DescriptionGives general information about the custom product.

Settings of a custom medication product

This table gives information about the settings that Vet Radar shows if you set Product Type to Medication:

ConcentrationThe concentration value of the medication. You can set the units of measurements for:
  • The active ingredient of a medication
  • The type of medication

The available units of measurement for the type of medication are:

Apply diluted concentrationIf you enable the Apply diluted concentration setting, Vet Radar shows the Diluted concentration setting.
Diluted concentrationThis setting has no function.
The unit of measurement for the active ingredient of the medication:

The unit of measurement for the liquid that dilutes the medication:
  • /ml

Dose Rate*Use Dose Rate* to enter the quantity of medication given to a patient at one time. Dose Rate* has related settings that you can use to:
  • Select the unit of measurement for the active ingredient of the medication
  • Select the unit of measurement for the weight of the patient
The available units of measurement for the active ingredient of the medication are:
