Change the patient of a clinical record

If necessary, you can change the patient of a clinical record. After you change the patient, ezyVet syncs the changed patient to Vet Radar. As a result, it is not necessary to make a different clinical record for the changed patient. And it is not necessary to configure the patient sheets in Vet Radar again.

To change the patient of a clinical record, do this procedure.
Note: After you do this procedure, the clinical record's invoices will continue to have a relation with the contact record of the initial patient’s owner. The applicable invoices show in the Invoices Billed to Other Customers section of the clinical record's Financial tab:

If necessary, you must manually change the invoices to have a relation with the contact record of the different patient’s owner.

  1. Select Clinical.

  2. Find and select the applicable clinical record.
  3. In the Patient section of the clinical record sidebar, select the pencil button.

  4. Select the applicable patient record.

  5. Select Change.

  6. Select Send to Vet Radar.

  7. Select Send to Vet Radar.

The clinical record has a relation with the different patient record. And Vet Radar shows the correct patient on the patient whiteboard.
