About critical notes

Use a critical note to enter important information that is not clinical information about a patient. Staff can use the critical notes to easily get information about the patient. For example, if the patient could bite, you could add a critical note that tells staff to make sure that the patient has a muzzle.

You make a critical note in a patient record in ezyVet. To make the critical note, you must:
  • Enter information in the Animal Notes section of the Details tab
  • Select the Notes Important setting

Animal Notes with the Notes Important setting selected

When you sync a patient record from ezyVet to Vet Radar, ezyVet syncs the critical notes to the Critical notes box in the patient profile.

Note: If you enter critical notes in Vet Radar, Vet Radar does not sync the critical notes to ezyVet.
