The Plaintext box of an email template

When a practice manager makes or configures an email template, ezyVet shows two boxes with content.

The first box has content that ezyVet will show in an email app that can use HTML content. HTML content can have text formatting and images.

The second box is the Plaintext box. The Plaintext box has unformatted content that ezyVet will show in an email app that cannot use HTML content. Unformatted content does not have text formatting and images. As a result, you cannot use the editor buttons to add formatting and images.

The Plaintext box

When you send an email from ezyVet that uses the template, ezyVet sends the content of both boxes at the same time. Thus, persons who open the email with an app that cannot use HTML content can also read the content.

When you enter content in the first box, ezyVet does not automatically put the same content in the Plaintext box. You must manually enter the content in the Plaintext box.
