About screenshots for customer support

You can use a screenshot app to visually record information about your site. ezyVet customer support can use screenshots to help you with ezyVet problems and questions more easily.

Tip: If you use Microsoft Windows 10, select Windows logo key + Shift + S to quickly make a screenshot.

Available screenshot apps

Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS include screenshot apps. As a result, it is not necessary to install and use a different app to make screenshots. For more information:
  • Open Snipping Tool and take a screenshot (Windows)
  • How to take and annotate screenshots on Windows 10
  • Take a screenshot on your Mac (macOS)
Different screenshot apps usually have more features compared to the apps that Windows or macOS include. ShareX is a good example of a different app that you can use:
  • getsharex.com
Note: ezyVet customer support cannot help you with screenshot apps. If necessary, refer to your product documentation or speak to your IT staff.

Methods for good screenshots

Make sure that your screenshots:
  • Always show the address of your ezyVet site
  • Always show the username of the person who is signed in to the site
  • Always show the date and time
