About automatic lock of completed treatment tasks

A practice manager can use the Completed task lock time setting to configure Vet Radar to automatically lock a treatment task after a staff member completes the treatment task. Staff members cannot change a treatment task after Vet Radar locks it.

Practice managers can use the Completed task lock time setting to set the period that staff members can change a treatment task that they completed. For example, a practice manager can set Vet Radar to automatically lock completed treatment tasks after five minutes. After a staff member completes a treatment task, they cannot change it after five minutes. If a staff member selected the completed treatment task after Vet Radar locks it, Vet Radar shows a message:

The available periods that a practice manager can select are:
  • Two minutes
  • Five minutes
  • 15 minutes
  • One hour
  • 24 hours
  • None
Note: If you do not want Vet Radar to lock completed treatment tasks, you can select None.
Note: If the user account of a staff member has the Admin permission role, they can always change a completed treatment task.
