About Vet Radar's automatic session lock

A practice manager can use the Session lock time setting to configure Vet Radar to automatically lock a staff member's session after a period that the practice manager selects. The Session lock time setting makes sure that the correct staff member is signed in to Vet Radar.

The Session lock time setting

Each user account in Vet Radar has a Session lock time setting. And Vet Radar has a Session lock time setting in its system settings. Only a practice manager can change each Session lock time setting.

A practice manager can set Session lock time of the user account to Hospital Default Value. As a result, Vet Radar uses the period that a practice manager set with Session lock time of the Vet Radar system settings to lock the staff member's session.

If necessary a practice manager can set a different Session lock time for each user account. For example, a pracatice manager can set the Session lock time of the user account of Sidney Zweibel to five minutes. And they can set the Session lock time of the user account of Christina Langley to 10 minutes.

After Vet Radar locks a staff member's session, Vet Radar shows the lock screen. To unlock their session, they must enter their PIN.
