Send an estimate for a client's remote signature (email method)

Before a client can enter a signature in an estimate that uses a remote signature, you must send the estimate to them.

  • Make sure that your site has the remote signature feature and related templates configured correctly
  • Make sure that the estimate is prepared and has the correct information
    Note: This procedure is applicable to estimates only. Other types of documents use a different procedure for remote signatures.
To send an estimate to a client for a remote signature, do this procedure.
  1. Select Financial.

  2. Select Estimates.

  3. Find and select the applicable estimate record.
  4. Select Attachment.

  5. Adjacent to Created Documents, select the plus button.

  6. In the Select a Template box, select the applicable document template.

  7. Select Load Template.

  8. If necessary, make changes to the content (for example, word changes and formatting changes).
  9. Select Save.

  10. Select the arrow that is adjacent to Send For Signature, then select Send an email.

  11. In the Destinations box, enter the client's email address.

  12. In the Email Template box, select the applicable email template that ezyVet uses to send the document.

  13. If necessary, make changes to the content (for example, word changes and formatting changes).
  14. Select Send.

ezyVet sends a link to the estimate in an email to the client. The client can use the link to open the estimate and enter their signature.
