Make an invoice from an estimate

If ezyVet has the applicable configuration, staff can use an estimate to make an invoice. The invoice has the products, prices, and quantities of the estimate.

  • Make sure that a practice manager configured ezyVet to automatically make invoices from estimates
  • Make sure that the applicable estimate has the Created status
To make an invoice from an estimate, do this procedure.
Note: This procedure uses the Financial primary tab as the first step. But you can also open an estimate from different parts of ezyVet (for example, a clinical record or a client contact record.)
Important: ezyVet's billing trigger system automatically makes invoices during clinical work and adds applicable products to them. For example, when you add clinical procedures to a consultation, ezyVet automatically makes an consultation invoice that includes the procedures as line items. For the best results and to make sure that financial records are accurate:
  • Use billing triggers as the primary method for invoicing
  • Manually make invoices from estimates only when necessary
