The Xero Management dashboard tab shows a TaxType code does not exist or cannot be used for this type of transaction error message

The applicable tax record in ezyVet's system settings has an incorrect tax type codeCopy

The error message that the Xero Management dashboard tab shows includes the incorrect tax type code in its output. For example, this error message shows an incorrect tax type of OUTPUT2:

Configure the correct tax type codeCopy

A practice manager or a person with the necessary administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Refer to Xero API documentation and make sure that you have the correct tax type code.
  2. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  3. In the settings list, select Financial.
    The Financial setting in the settings list
  4. Select TAX Rates.
    The TAX Rates setting
    ezyVet shows a New Gst Rate screen.
  5. Find and select the applicable tax rate record.
    ezyVet shows the settings of the tax rate record.
  6. Select Integration Settings.

  7. In the Xero Output Code box, enter the correct tax type code.

  8. Select Save.
