General steps to configure and prepare Vello
Vello has a set of general steps that you do to initially and prepare and configure it.
1. Prepare to use Vello

4 | Make sure that you know how clients will use Vello and the information that they can get access to. | Vello: What clients can see and use |
5 | Use the Automated Communications Cadence screen to know when clients receive messages that Vello automatically sends. | Automated Communications Cadence screen |
6 | Make a decision about the address that you want to use for the Vello client portal. If applicable, change the address before you give clients a direct link or QR code for client portal sign-in. Note: After you change the address, clients cannot sign in to the client portal with a direct link or QR code that they used before the change. Thus, only change the address again when it is necessary (for example, if you change the name of your practice). | Change the address of the Vello client portal |
7 | Get the sign-in link and QR code for the Vello client portal and send to clients as necessary. | Get the sign-in link for the Vello client portal |
