An addendum is text information that you can add to a record of a locked clinical record. The addendum does not change the record data.
Note: Addendums are usually applicable to locked clinical records only.
Note: You usually add addendums to the related records of a locked clinical record. But you can also add an addendum to the clinical record directly.
All addendums of a clinical record show in a dedicated Addendums section of the clinical record. The Addendums section shows after you select the In Clinic Notes button of the clinical record.Figure 1. The Addendums section
Tip: If the addendum is in a related record of the clinical record, the Record column of the Addendums section ezyVet shows the related record:
Note: A practice manager can configure clinical record screens to show or hide record type sections. Thus, it is possible that clinical record screens do not show the Addendums section. If ezyVet does not show the Addendums section, speak to your practice manager.
