Unlock a clinical record

After you unlock a clinical record, persons can make changes to it. And they can make changes to records that have a relation to the clinical record.

  • Make sure that your user account has the necessary permissions
  • Make sure that the record is not in the clinical record lockdown period
To unlock a record, do this procedure.
  1. Select Clinical.
    The Clinical tab
  2. Find and select the applicable clinical record.
  3. Select Locked.
    The Locked button
    Note: If the button does not show Locked but does show Unlocked, the clinical record is unlocked.
    Trouble: If you cannot see the button, you do not have the necessary permissions. Speak to your practice manager.
The record is unlocked.
