Add an addendum to a locked clinical record directly

If a clinical record is locked, you can use an addendum to add information to record. The addendum does not cause a change to the record.

To add an addendum, do this procedure.
Note: To add an addendum to a record of a locked clinical record, refer to Add an addendum to information of a locked clinical record.
  1. Select Clinical.

  2. Find and select the applicable clinical record that is locked.
    Tip: To quickly find locked clinical records, select the Locked tab in the left sidebar:

  3. Select View By Item.

  4. Select Addendums.

  5. Adjacent to Addendums, select the plus button.

    ezyVet shows the New Addendums dialog box.
  6. In the Notes box, enter the applicable information.

  7. To control who can see the information, use the Addendum Visibility setting.

    Note: If you set Addendum Visibility to Public, the information shows in printed clinical histories and printed clinical summaries. If you set Addendum Visibility to Internal Only, ezyVet shows the information only to persons who are signed in to ezyVet.
  8. Select Add.

The clinical record has the necessary information. The information:
  • Does not change the clinical record
  • Does not have a relation to a record of the clinical record
