Manually change the due date of a care service

The standard-of-care system automatically calculates due dates for care services (for example vaccinations or treatments). But if necessary, you can manually change the due date of a care service.

Make sure that your user account has the Standard Of Care > Change Next Due permission.

To manually change the due date, do this procedure.

Note: Examples of when a manual change to a due date is applicable:

A patient received a vaccination from a different organization
A veterinarian makes a decision that they can do a dental check during a day that is different to the initial due date for the check

Note: Due dates of care services automatically change when staff invoice a product that a care service uses.

Note: This procedure uses the standard-of-care information of a patient record as an example. But you can also make changes to the standard-of-care information of a clinical record or client contact record. When you make the changes, ezyVet automatically changes the standard-of-care information of the other related records.

Select Patients.
The left sidebar shows the patient records of your site.
In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable patient record.
ezyVet shows patient record settings and information.
Select S.O.C.
ezyVet shows the Standard Of Care table of the patient.
In the Standard Of Care table, select the calendar button of the care service that you want to change.
ezyVet shows the Change Next Due Date dialog box.
In the When should this be due? box, select the due date of the care service.
In the Why is it due then? box, enter information about why the change is necessary.
Select Change Date.
