Appointments and other calendar functions

Video documentation

The calendar screen has buttons, icons, and functions that help you to make and see appointments quickly and easily.

The ezyVet calendar has two view modes that you can use to show appointments and planning guides. The available view modes are day view and week view.

To make an appointment quickly and easily, use the calendar screen.

Use the calendar to easily make changes to an appointment (for example, a change to the date and time).

If an appointment is not necessary, you can cancel it.

A recurring appointment is an appointment that automatically occurs again and again with a specified interval. As a result, it is not necessary to manually make each appointment.

After you make a recurring appointment, you can make changes to its information (for example, its time and interval).

An appointment status is a type of ezyVet record that gives the status of an appointment. Each appointment status has a name and an icon that identifies the applicable status.

When you make an appointment, ezyVet can automatically set many types of information for the appointment (for example, the appointment time). And ezyVet can also make sure that staff select a patient record and clinical record for a new appointment. To set the automatic and mandatory information, ezyVet uses appointment types.

Planning guides decrease the manual work necessary for staff to make appointments at the correct available times and with the correct information.

After you make a planning guide, other staff can easily know the available appointment times for a calendar.

After you make an appointment, you can send an appointment confirmation message to the client. The message is an SMS message that the client can send a confirmation reply to.

Make and configure records

Video documentation

A client contact record is the correct type of contact record to use for your clients.

After you make a client contact record, you can make patient records for each patient of the client.

After you make a patient record, you can add an image of the patient to it. The image makes it easy to visually identify the patient.

If a patient record has more than one patient image, you can set one image as the primary image. The patient record sidebar always shows the primary image.

You can use a picklist to quickly and easily record answers to questions in a clinical template. Thus, it is not necessary to manually record patient information.
