ezyVet record icons

ezyVet shows many types of icons in its records and user interface. It is important to know about the information that the icons identify.

Appointment status iconsCopy

Tip: A PDF version of the icons that you can print is available.
The table that follows gives the icons that ezyVet automatically sets for appointment statuses of all new ezyVet sites.
Note: A practice manager can select a different icon for each appointment status. Thus, the appointment statuses of your site could show different icons.
IconInformation identified
The Unconfirmed iconThe appointment has the Unconfirmed appointment status.
The Confirmed iconThe appointment has the Confirmed appointment status.
The In Transit iconThe appointment has the In Transit appointment status. Thus, the client started their travel to your organization.
The In Waiting Room iconThe appointment has the In Waiting Room appointment status. Thus, the patient is in a waiting room.
The In Consultation iconThe appointment has the In Consultation appointment status. Thus, the patient is in a consult with a staff member.
The In Procedure iconThe appointment has the In Procedure appointment status. Thus, the patient will receive a procedure.
The Admit for Surgery iconThe appointment has the Admit for Surgery appointment status. Thus, the patient is admitted for surgery.
The In Hospital iconThe appointment has the In Hospital appointment status. Thus, a staff member admitted the patient to your organization.
The In Discharge iconThe appointment has the In Discharge appointment status. Thus, your organization will discharge the patient.
The Awaiting Collect iconThe appointment has the Awaiting Collect appointment status. Thus, the client can get the patient from your organization.
The Departed iconThe appointment has the Departed appointment status. Thus, the client got the patient from your organization.
The Interim Report iconThe appointment has the Interim Report appointment status. Thus, a staff member must complete the clinical record of the appointment.
The Referral Done iconThe appointment has the Referral Done appointment status. Thus a staff member completed the clinical summary and they sent it to the referring veterinary practice.
The Complete iconThe appointment has the Complete appointment status. Thus, a staff member completed the appointment and related tasks.

General icons of calendar appointmentsCopy

This table gives each general icon that a calendar appointment could show:

The virtual appointment iconThe appointment is a virtual appointment.
The recurring appointment iconThe appointment is a recurring appointment.
The attached file iconThe client record of the appointment has file attachments (for example, a completed form with a signature).
The preferred doctor iconThe patient record has a preferred doctor selected.
The pending invoice iconThe client of the appointment has a pending invoice.
The approved invoice iconThe client of the appointment has an approved invoice. But the invoice is unpaid or the invoice does not have the correct payment allocation.
The approved and paid invoice iconThe client of the appointment has a fully paid invoice.

The icon of an Unknown or Friendly demeanor statusThe demeanor status of the patient is Unknown or Friendly.
The icon of an Unfriendly demeanor statusThe demeanor status of the patient is Unfriendly.

The icon of a wellness plan membershipThe patient has a wellness plan membership.
The icon of a deceased patientThe patient is deceased.
The icon of a patient who has a critical master problemThe patient has a critical master problem.

General status icons of communication records and messagesCopy

IconInformation identified
The Pending icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Pending status. Thus, ezyVet will not automatically send the applicable message. You must manually send it.
The Sending icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Sending status. Thus, the applicable message is prepared for ezyVet to automatically send it.
The Sent icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Done status. Thus, ezyVet sent the applicable message.
Note: If you hover over the communication record of an email message or an SMS message, ezyVet shows a pop-up window. The pop-up window could show Read:
Read text

The Read text tells you that the applicable email system or SMS system received the message and will send it to the applicable person. The Read text does not identify that the person opened and read the message.

The Opened icon of a communicationezyVet sent an applicable email message and a person received and opened it.
Note: This icon is applicable to email messages only.
The Failed icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Failed status. Thus, ezyVet did not send the applicable message because of a problem.

Product record iconsCopy

A product iconA product that is not inventory tracked.
An inventory-tracked product iconAn inventory-tracked product.
The icon of a package, product container, or product bundleThis icon identifies:
  • A product package
  • A product container
  • A product bundle
The icon of an inventory-tracked package, inventory-tracked product container, or an inventory-tracked product bundleThis icon identifies:
  • An inventory-tracked package
  • An inventory-tracked product container
Note: If a product record icon shows with a gray color, the product record is inherited from a central site.
