ezyVet system requirements
The system requirements give information about the minimum and recommended technology to correctly use ezyVet in your organization.
- Make sure that ezyVet products have the best performance
- Make sure that your ezyVet site does not have problems after go-live
Primary internet connection
- If ezyVet load times are slow
- If your internet connection frequently disconnects
- If your internet download speed is less than 20 Mbps

Backup internet connection (optional)
A backup internet connection can help make sure that ezyVet continues to operate if your primary internet connection is not available. Backup internet connections can have low cost and can also use the data plan of your mobile phone. For more information, speak to your phone company or internet company.

Diagnostics devices
- A different network configuration compared to other devices that are connected to an office network
- Firewall exceptions
- A dedicated control computer that is physically adjacent to the device

Tablets
- Android tablets
- Apple iPad
If you use an Android tablet, make sure that it has a minimum operating system of Android 8 (Oreo).
If you use an iPad, make sure it has a minimum operating system that is not more than two versions before the newest version.
IDEXX customer support recommends that you use a tablet that has a camera and a protective case.
Make sure that the tablet has a minimum battery life of eight hours.
