ezyVet shows a cannot be before/equal the start error when you save an appointment

Do this troubleshooting if ezyVet shows The end of an appointment cannot be before/equal the start! when you try to save an appointment:

ezyVet's system settings have an incorrect key shortcut in the Time Format box

The Time Format box of ezyVet's system settings cannot have a h:ma key shortcut. If the box has h:ma, appointments will show the error.

Enter the correct key shortcut

A practice manager or a person with the necessary administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Settings.

  3. Select System.

  4. Make sure that the Time Format box shows correct key shortcuts.

The appointment start time is after its end time

The error occurs if the time that you enter in the Start Time box of an appointment is after the time of the End Time box. For example, an appointment cannot have a start time of 10:00 PM and an end time of 12:30 AM during the same day:

Make sure that the Start Time box and End Time box of an appointment have the correct times.
