ezyVet shows a contact ownership error when you try to discharge a patient

If ezyVet shows The specified contact is not the owner of the animal when you try to discharge a patient, do this procedure:
An error message

The patient’s owner changed during the period that the patient was in hospital

Temporarily change the owner of the patient

  1. Find and select the applicable patient record.
  2. Select Details.

  3. In the Owner box, select the contact record of the initial owner of the patient.

  4. Change the appointment status to In Discharge, Complete, or an equivalent status.
  5. Do steps 1 thru 3, but set the owner contact record to the correct contact record.
