Data conversion information for Cornerstone: Data of client contact records

The data conversion process converts your data from Cornerstone to ezyVet. It is important that you know how data of client contact records is converted into ezyVet. For example, it is important that you know how the data conversion process converts phone numbers and email addresses of contact records.

Records of clients.YesThe data conversion process converts records of clients. After the data conversion process is complete, ezyVet automatically makes client contact records. The image that follows shows an example of client contact records in ezyVet:

The status of a client record.
The Status box
YesThe data conversion process converts the status of client records. If the client record has the Active status in Cornerstone, the data conversion process converts the client record.
If the client record has the Inactive status in Cornerstone, the data conversion process:
  • Converts the client record to ezyVet
  • Automatically disables the client contact record
The classification of a client record.
The Classification box
YesThe data conversion process converts the classification of a client record. After the data conversion process is complete, the Class box of the Tags section of client contact records shows the classification of the client contact record:

The type of client record.
The Type box
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the type of client record. ezyVet does not have an equivalent feature.
The client's title.
The Title box
YesThe data conversion process converts the client's title. After the data conversion process is complete, the Title box of the applicable client contact record shows the client's title:The Title box
The client's first name.
The First box

The client's middle name.

NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the client's middle name. ezyVet does not have an equivalent feature.
The client's last name.

The client's address.

YesThe data conversion process can convert the addresses of contact records. After the data conversion process is completed, an ezyVet contact record shows the address in the Physical Address section:

Note: If necessary, staff can add a postal address to a contact record.
The client's email address.

YesThe data conversion process converts the client's email address. After the data conversion process is complete, the Contact Methods section shows the client's email address:

YesThe data conversion process converts the type of phone that is related to the phone number (for example, a home phone). After the data conversion process is complete, the Type box of the applicable contact record shows the type of phone:The Type box
Note: If you set the Location box to landline or fax, the data conversion process automatically sets the Type box to landline or fax. If the Location box shows something else, the data conversion process automatically sets the Type box to Mobile.
User defined prompts of the client record.

YesThe data conversion process converts prompts that are related to the client record. After the data conversion process is complete, the Tags section of the applicable client contact record shows the prompts.
Note: If the prompt is for a client's date of birth, the data conversion process automatically enters the data into the Date of birth section.

The data conversion process converts alerts of a client record. After the data conversion process is complete, the Contact Notes box of a client contact record shows the applicable alerts:

Referrals of the client record.
The Has Referred section
YesThe data conversion process converts referrals of the client record. After the data conversion process is complete, the Referred box of the Tags section shows the quantity of people that the client has referred:The Referred box
The configuration of the Tax exempt setting.The Tax exempt settingNoThe data conversion process cannot convert the configuration of the Tax Exempt setting. ezyVet does not have an equivalent feature.
The configuration of the Credit code setting.
The Credit code box
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the configuration fo the Credit code setting. ezyVet does not have an equivalent feature. After the data conversion process is complete, the Credit Code box of the Tags section shows the configuration of the Credit code setting:The Credit Code box
Monthly charges.
The Monthly Charges section
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert monthly charges. The equivalent feature in ezyVet is interest charges.

The configuration of the Practice Affiliation setting.
The Practice Affiliation section
YesThe data conversion process can convert the configuration of the Practice Affiliation setting. The data conversion process uses the configuration of the Practice Affiliation setting to select the type of the ezyVet client contact record.

If you scheduled a client callback for the future, the Status column shows a Pending icon. If you completed a client callback before, the Status column shows a Complete icon:

YesThe data conversion process converts the data of the Home Practice box. After the data conversion process is complete, the Department box shows the client's home practice:
Discounts.

YesThe data conversion process converts discounts of client records. After the data conversion process is complete, the Tags section shows the Cornerstone Discount Group tag category. The Cornerstone Discount Group tag category shows the applicable discount:
