Data conversion information for Cornerstone: Appointment record data

The data conversion process converts your data from Cornerstone to ezyVet. It is important that you know which appointment record data is converted into ezyVet. For example, it is important that you know how the data conversion process converts the start and end times of Cornerstone appointments.

Note: If you scheduled an appointment for a patient for after the data conversion, the data conversion process automatically:
  • Makes an appointment record for the patient
  • Makes a clinical record for the patient
This table shows:
  • The different types of data of a Cornerstone appointment
  • If the data conversion process can convert the data
  • Information about how ezyVet shows your organization's data after the data conversion process is complete

The Patient ID box
YesThe data conversion process can convert the patient of an appointment. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet appointment record shows the patient of an appointment in the Patient box:The Patient box
The client of the appointment.
The Client ID box
YesThe data conversion process can convert the client of an appointment. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet appointment record shows the client in the Client box:

The date and time of the appointment.

YesAfter the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet appointment record shows the date, start time, and end time of an appointment in:
  • The Date box
  • The Start Time box
  • The End Time box

The date that a staff member confirmed the appointment.

NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the date that a staff member confirmed the appointment. After the data conversion process is complete, staff can use appointment statuses to show that the appointment is confirmed:

The primary reason for the appointment.
The Primary box
YesThe data conversion process converts the primary reason of an appointment. After the data conversion process is complete, the Appointment Type box show the primary reason for the appointment:The Appointment Type box
The secondary reason for the appointment.
The Secondary box
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the secondary reason for the appointment. ezyVet does not have an equivalent feature.
The staff member of the appointment.
The Staff box
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the staff member of the appointment. ezyVet uses the equivalent of a room to identify the staff member of the appointment. After the data conversion process is complete, the People/ Resources used box shows the staff member of the appointment:The People/Resources Used box
The length of time of the appointment.
The Time units box
YesThe data conversion process converts the length of time of an appointment. After the data conversion is complete, the difference between the start time and the end time shows the length of time of the appointment.
The prefix of the appointment.
The Prefix box
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the prefix of the appointment. ezyVet does not have an equivalent feature.
The cost of the appointment.
The Amount box
NoThe data conversion process cannot convert the cost of the appointment. After the data conversion process is complete, a practice manager can configure a billing trigger of an appointment type. As a result, each time that you schedule an appointment, ezyVet automatically charges the client.

Appointment notes.
The Notes box
YesThe data conversion process converts the data of the Notes box of an appointment. After the data conversion is complete, the Reason for appointment box shows the Notes of the appointment:The Reason for appointment box
The room of the appointment.YesThe data conversion process converts the room of the appointment. The ezyVet equivalent to a room is a calendar resource. After the data conversion process is complete, the Calendar tab shows the appointment and the applicable calendar resource:
