About the conversion of reminders of Cornerstone invoice items
A practice manager can configure reminders of Cornerstone invoice items. The reminders automatically send messages to clients. The equivalent feature in ezyVet is the standard-of-care system. The standard of care system uses care services to automatically send messages to clients. The data conversion process automatically converts each reminder of an invoice item to an ezyVet care service.
If an invoice item has a reminder, the data conversion process:
- Makes an care service reminder
- Adds a keyword to the Tags section of patient records that have a relation to the applicable invoice item
If a patient record has a keyword of the converted reminder record, the Standard Of Care section shows the care service reminder. And the Standard of care section shows the ezyVet care service reminder.
Because the Standard of Care section has two care service reminders for the same vaccine or treatment, ezyVet automatically sends one message for each care service reminder. To prevent this condition, a practice manager must:
- Go to the ezyVet care service reminder
- Merge each converted record of a reminder of an invoice item into the applicable care service reminder
