Data conversion information for Cornerstone: Invoice items

The data conversion process converts your Cornerstone data to ezyVet. It is important that you know how the data conversion process converts Cornerstone invoice items to ezyVet product records. For example, it is important that you know how the data conversion process converts the financial data of invoice items.

After the data conversion process is completed, ezyVet shows the product code in the Product Code box of the product record: Note: In ezyVet, one product record cannot have the same product code as a different product record. If Cornerstone has two product records with the same product code, the data conversion process makes a different code for one of the product records.

After the data conversion process is completed, ezyVet shows a Default Revenue Center box in the Tags section of the product record. The Default Revenue Center box shows the data of the Subclass box as a tag:
The barcode that is related to an invoice item.	Yes	The data conversion process converts product barcodes. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet product record shows the product barcode in the Barcodes section:
The minimum price of an invoice item.	No	The data conversion process cannot convert the minimum price of an invoice item. An ezyVet product record does not have an equivalent setting. But after the data conversion process is completed, ezyVet shows the minimum price in the Notes box of the product record: Note: The minimum price that the Notes box shows is only for information and has no other function.
The dispensing fee of an invoice item.	Yes	The data conversion process converts the dispensing fee of an invoice item to a service fee product. After the data conversion process is completed, ezyVet shows the medication instructions in the Instructions box of the product record:
The departing instructions of an invoice item.	No	The data conversion process cannot convert the departing instructions of an invoice item. But after the data conversion process is completed, a practice manager can add the same information to an ezyVet product record as a document. To add the information, a practice manager does the procedure given in Configure a product to make and save a PDF file attachment after staff approve an invoice. Then, ezyVet shows the name of the document that has the information in the Templates section of the product record:

The serial number of an invoice item.	No	The data conversion process cannot convert the data of the Serial number box. An ezyVet product record does not have an equivalent setting.
Settings of the Whiteboard tab.	No	ezyVet does not have a whiteboard. As a result, the data conversion process cannot convert the settings of the Whiteboard tab.

About special actions of invoice items and clinical types of ezyVet product records

ezyVet product records have clinical types. Each clinical type has different settings that a practice manager can use to configure the product record. For example, you can only identify a product as a controlled drug if it has the Medication clinical type. Because Cornerstone does not have equivalent types, the data conversion process uses the special actions of invoice items to select applicable clinical types for product records.

Note: The data conversion process also selects the Vaccination clinical type if: The primary classification of the invoice item has a keyword (for example, `vac`, `immuni`, or `vax`) The subclass classification of the invoice item has `vacc` The Display on Vaccine Tab setting of the invoice item is activated
Update Microchip ID	If an invoice item has the Update Microchip ID special action, the data conversion process: Automatically selects the Procedure clinical type for the ezyVet product record Automatically activates the Microchips patient setting
Update Vital Signs	If an invoice item has the Update Vital Signs special action, the data conversion process automatically selects the Procedure clinical type for the ezyVet product record.
Lab Request	If an invoice item has the Lab Request special action, the data conversion process automatically selects the Diagnostic clinical type for the ezyVet product record.
Prescription Label	If an invoice item has the Prescription Label special action, the data conversion process: Automatically selects the Medication clinical type for the ezyVet product record Automatically activates the Prescription only setting
Image Request	If an invoice item has the Image Request special action, the data conversion process automatically selects the Diagnostic clinical type for the ezyVet product record.
