Settings of a product record show dimmed and you cannot change them

Do this troubleshooting if:
  1. You cannot change the settings of a product record
  2. You are a practice manager or you know that you have the necessary user account permissions to make the changes

The product is synced from a central site

If your organization uses a centralized inheritance configuration, central sites sync product settings to inherited sites. As a result, you cannot change the settings of products of an inherited site.

Speak to the applicable person at the head office of your organization

The person at your head office who configured centralized inheritance can make the necessary settings.
