ezyVet shows a non zero inventory value error when you try to disable a product

Do this troubleshooting if ezyVet shows You cannot disable a product with a non zero inventory value when you try to disable a product:

Note: The error also shows the code of the applicable product (for example, HS1000).

The product has an inventory value that is not 0

To disable a product, it must have an inventory value of 0.

Disable inventory tracking for the product

A practice manager or a person with the necessary administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Products.

  3. Find and select the applicable product.
    ezyVet shows the product settings.
  4. In the Properties section, set Inventory Track to No.

  5. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

  6. Try to disable the product again.

Use an inventory adjustment record to set the product's inventory level to 0

  1. Select Financial.
    The Financial tab
  2. Select Inventory Adjustment.

    ezyVet shows the New Inventory Adjustment screen.
  3. In the Item box, add the product that you cannot disable.

  4. In the In Inventory box, enter 0.

  5. Select APPROVE.

  6. Try to disable the product again.
