Configuration settings of a new wellness plan
When a practice manager configures a new wellness plan, ezyVet shows a New Wellness Plan screen. It is important to know the function of the settings that the screen shows.
This table gives each setting and its function:

| Name | The name of the wellness plan. |
| Failure Memo User | The ezyVet user account of the staff members who receive a memo or email if the wellness plan has a problem. Note: Examples of problems that cause ezyVet to send a memo include:

| Department | The department that can use the wellness plan. Note: ezyVet shows the this setting only if your site uses a department configuration.

| Subscription Group(Will Generate if Blank) | The ezyVet subscription group to use for automated reminders and other applicable communication types. |
| Subscription Cycle | The interval that ezyVet uses to send an invoice of a wellness plan membership to the client. |
| Subscription Fee Product | The product that the wellness plan uses for the subscription fee of the wellness plan membership. |
| Fee Charged Per Cycle(Exc. GST) | The subscription fee of the wellness plan membership. Note: This box automatically shows the dollar value of the product that you select in the Subscription Fee Product setting. But if necessary you can enter a different value. As a result, you can use one subscription fee product for different wellness plans but also set a different subscription fee for each plan.

| Term Length | The time of the wellness plan membership and its related contract. |
| Pause Limit | The maximum time in months that the client can pause their wellness plan membership. If the client continues to pause the membership for more than the value that you enter, ezyVet cancels their membership. |
| Pause extends membership end date | If you set to ON, ezyVet automatically changes the end date of the client’s wellness plan membership if they pause the plan. |
| Default Replacement Plan | The wellness plan that ezyVet automatically starts after the client completes the membership of their initial plan. For example, you could set a different wellness plan for each year of a patient's life:
Tip: You can also use the Default Replacement Plan setting to make changes to a wellness plan. You cannot make changes to an active wellness plan. This is because it is possible that the plan has active memberships. As an alternative you can use this method:
The result is that when the client completes their initial wellness plan membership, ezyVet automatically starts the different wellness plan that has the necessary changes. |
| Renew by Default | If you set this to ON, ezyVet automatically renews the wellness plan membership. If you set this to OFF, a staff member must manually set the plan to renew the membership. |
| Billing Date Preference | The date that ezyVet automatically uses to make invoices for the wellness plan membership. |
| Renewal Fee Product | The fee product to use for the renewal fee of the wellness plan membership. |
| Enabled Billing Cycles | This setting controls the available invoicing intervals of the wellness plan membership. Select the plus (+) button to add an interval. Select the minus (–) button to remove an interval. |
| Enrollment Fee(Charged on signup) | The fee product to use for the enrollment fee of the wellness plan membership. |
| Subscription Cycles Paid In Advance | Sets the number of months of advance payment of the initial invoice of the wellness plan membership. The client must pay for the number of months that you enter before they can start to use the wellness plan. ezyVet sends the next invoice of the wellness plan membership after the value that you enter. |
| Default Payment Method | The default payment method that ezyVet uses for the wellness plan membership. |
| Default Enrollment Document Template | The document template that the wellness plan uses for the client contract of the wellness plan membership. |
| Discontinued | If you set this to YES:

| Portion of benefit discounting recorded as earnings | The percentage of the benefit discount that ezyVet records as revenue for a given doctor. |
| Cancellation Fee Product | The fee product to use for the cancellation fee of the wellness plan membership. |
| Benefit can be consumed in multiple Departments | If you set this to ON, more than one department can consume a benefit of the wellness plan. Note: ezyVet shows Benefit can be consumed in multiple Departments only after you save a new wellness plan.
