Template table formatting

When you add a table to an ezyVet template, you can also change the table formatting properties.

The table formatting properties control:
  • The table border
  • The number of rows and columns in the table
  • The background colors of the table cells
The image and table that follow show the available formatting properties.

AreaFunction
1Sets the number of rows and columns.
2Sets a header row.
3Sets the border thickness of the table. The setting uses a pixel value.
Tip: To remove the border, enter a value of 0.
4Sets the horizontal position of the table on the page.
5Adds a caption to the table.
6Sets the width and height of the table. These settings use a pixel value.
7Sets the space that is between the cells. This setting uses a pixel value.
8Sets the space that is around the contents of the cells. This setting uses a pixel value.
Tip: To get access to these properties after you add the table to the template:
  1. Right-click the table.
  2. Select Table Properties.

Formatting properties of table cells

You can also set formatting properties of table cells (for example, dimensions, alignment, and colors). To get access to these properties, right-click the applicable cell, then select Cell Properties:

AreaFunction
1Sets the width and height of the cell. These settings use a pixel value.
2Sets the horizontal and vertical position of the text of the cell.
3Sets the color of the cell content and cell border.
