Add a file attachment to a communication task

After a practice manager adds a file attachment to a communication task, they can tell the communication task to use it. As a result, each message that the communication task automatically sends includes the file attachment.

Prepare the file that you want the communication task to include.
Note: Only communication tasks for email messages can use file attachments.
Note: The Attachment tab of step 4 only shows for a configured communication task. Thus, if you make a communication task, you must save the settings of the new communication task before ezyVet shows the Attachment tab.
To add a file attachment, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Automated Tasks.

  3. Select Communication Tasks.

    The left sidebar shows the configured communication tasks of your site.
  4. Select Attachment.

  5. Drag the applicable file into the Add Attachment(s) box.

The communication task has the file attachment.
Use the Send With Attachments box in the communication task settings to select the file attachment to include with automatic messages:

Trouble: If the communication task settings do not show Send With Attachments, make sure that you select With Attachments.
