Client account balances in ezyVet

A client contact record in ezyVet can show different account balance values. The values identify account balance information about the client.

An account balance value can change after you do clinical work and financial work for a client. For example, a refund can cause the account balance value to change.

An account balance shows as:
  • The Current Balance value in the contact record sidebar for a client
  • A value that is adjacent to the Client box of an invoice shown in ezyVet's invoicing screen

  • Does not have necessary payments to make
  • Does not have an account credit that they can use
Current Balance shows a negative valueThe client has an account credit that they can use. For example, a client could have an account credit if they make a deposit for a clinical procedure.

Pending values

If the contact record sidebar for a client shows a Pending value, ezyVet has one or more invoices that are not approved for the client. After you approve an applicable invoice, ezyVet:

  • Adds the total value of the invoice to the Current Balance shown
