ezyVet SSO and user accounts
If an ezyVet site uses single sign-on, persons can only use the username and password of their organization’s domain accounts to sign in. Persons cannot use an ezyVet user account or an alternative username and password to sign in. Thus, SSO makes sure that ezyVet sign-in agrees with your organization's IT security policies (for example, password length or multi-factor authentication).
- A practice manager can set user account permissions for each ezyVet user account
- A practice manager can set a permissions role for each ezyVet user account
- A practice manager can configure module blocking for each ezyVet user account
ezyVet SSO and user account names

- The ezyVet user account of the person must also have a username of christina@callistovet.com
ezyVet SSO and access for locums and temporary staff
If an ezyVet site uses SSO, locums and other types of temporary staff cannot use an ezyVet user account for sign-in. To sign in, they must have a domain account that they use for sign-in with SSO. Thus, the user account configuration for locums and temporary staff is not different to all other persons who want to use ezyVet.
ezyVet SSO and access for ezyVet customer support
All ezyVet sites have a set of dedicated user accounts that ezyVet customer support and other applicable ezyVet teams use. The dedicated user accounts are mandatory and you cannot disable them. The ezyVet user interface does not show the user accounts in its screens.
During an ezyVet implementation, ezyVet Implementation team usually configures devices and integrations for your organization. If ezyVet access is necessary during the implementation, make temporary domain accounts for each Implementation team member. Then when the implementation is competed, remove the domain accounts.
ezyVet SSO and ezyVet integrations
Some types of ezyVet integration operate with ezyVet user accounts. If your ezyVet site uses SSO, you must make domain accounts for the applicable integrations. If an applicable integration does not have a domain account, it cannot operate with ezyVet. For more information, speak to ezyVet customer support.
