Changes to general tasks that single sign-on (SSO) causes

ezyVet single sign-on (SSO) can cause changes to how persons do general tasks compared to an ezyVet site that does not use SSO.

This table gives each task and information about how it changes with ezyVet SSO:
TaskInformation
Make user accountsPractice managers continue to make user accounts in ezyVet. But each new user account for a person must have the same username as the person's domain account.

For example, if the domain account username for Christina Langley is christina@callistovets.com, their ezyVet user account must have the username christina@callistovets.com.

ezyVet sign-outIf an ezyVet site uses SSO, you cannot sign out of ezyVet. As an alternative, sign out of the device that has ezyVet. For example, at the end of your ezyVet work, sign out of the computer that has ezyVet.
End of employment for staffWhen a staff member is at the end their employment with your organization, make sure that your IT team disables the staff member's domain account. As a result, the person cannot sign in to ezyVet.
Note: When you disable a person's domain account, ezyVet does not also automatically disable the related ezyVet user account.
Lock ezyVetIf an ezyVet site uses SSO, you cannot lock ezyVet. As an alternative, you can lock the operating system of the device that has ezyVet. For example, if a device that has ezyVet uses Microsoft Windows, you can lock Windows.
Change a signed-in user account to a different account (the ezyVet switch user feature)If an ezyVet site uses SSO, you cannot use the ezyVet switch user feature.
