Patient record tabs

The screen of a patient record shows a set of tabs. Use each tab to find and show patient information and to do different types of patient tasks.

Patient record tabs
This table gives the name of each tab and its function:
Tab nameFunction
DetailsThe Details tab shows basic information about a patient. The information includes:
  • Name
  • Species
  • Breed
  • Age
  • Color
  • Demeanor status
  • Microchip number
  • Referring veterinary clinic and veterinarian
Clinical RecordsThe Clinical Records tab shows all clinical records of a patient. The clinical record information includes:
  • Dates and times
  • Clinical record numbers
  • Departments
  • Case owners
  • Appointment records of each clinical record

You can use the Clinical Records tab to open related invoices and to make a clinical summary.

Master ProblemsThe Master Problems tab shows the most important health problems of a patient.
S.O.C.The S.O.C. tab shows standard of care events of a patient. The information includes:
  • Dates of completed events
  • Dates of due events
  • Treatments and vaccinations

The S.O.C. tab is a good method to monitor the necessary treatments and vaccinations for a patient.

Financial
The Financial tab shows financial information about a patient. The information includes:
  • Completed invoices and in-progress invoices
  • Estimates
  • Payments
BoardingThe Boarding tab shows boarding bookings of a patient.
DentalThe Dental tab shows a dental chart that you can use to record dental health information for a patient.
Image AnnotationsThe Image Annotations tab shows images that have image annotations.
SummariesThe Summaries tab shows clinical summaries of a patient.
ImagingThe Imaging tab shows imaging reports that you make with document templates that a practice manager configured to use for imaging reports.
Health StatusThe Health Status tab shows information about patient vitals. The information shown includes patient vitals that you entered in a clinical record.
MedicationsThe Medication tab shows all prescribed medications of patient. The information shown includes medications that are related to a client invoice.
VaccinationsThe Vaccinations tab shows all vaccinations of a patient. The information shown includes vaccinations that are related to a client invoice.
DiagnosticsThe Diagnostics tab shows all diagnostic requests and diagnostic results for a patient.
eClaimsThe eClaims tab shows all e-claims of a patient.
AppointmentsThe Appointments tab shows all appointments of a patient.
CommunicationsThe Communications tab shows communication records of messages for the patient’s owner.
MemosThe Memos tab shows records of each memo that staff sent about the patient.
AttachmentsThe Attachment tab shows all file attachments of the patient. The file attachments shown include file attachments that staff added to the patient record and to related clinical records.
Change LogThe Change Log tab shows the change log of a patient record.
MergeUse the Merge tab to do a merge of a patient record.
