An ezyVet record usually shows in a dedicated record tab. The record tab shows the name of the record. And it shows the settings of the record. The settings can include related records.

You can open many record tabs at the same time. But you cannot select and show more than one record tab at the same time. Example open record tabs shows four open record tabs. The left record tab is selected. The other record tabs are open but show dimmed because they are not selected.Figure 2. Example open record tabs
When you use the Navigation History pop-up window to quickly select a record, ezyVet opens the selected record in a new record tab.
Note:ezyVet can show information that is not a record in a record tab. For example, if you use the Navigation History pop-up window to open system settings, ezyVet opens the system settings in a record tab.
Some areas of the ezyVet user interface open a new record tab when you select the area. For example, the contact record sidebar has a Patients section. If you double-click the Patients section, ezyVet opens the patient record in a record tab:
Note: An ezyVet record tab is not the same as a web browser tab. The full ezyVet software shows in one tab of your web browser. But the ezyVet software can show many of its tabs in the one browser tab.
