Make a credit note product

Before staff can add a credit note product to an invoice, a practice manager must make the credit note product.

To make the product, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Products.

  3. In the Product Name box, enter a name for the product.

  4. If necessary, enter a product code in the Product Code box.
  5. In the Primary Group box, select an applicable product group for the product.

  6. In the Properties section, make the necessary settings for a credit note product.

    Note: These are the necessary settings:
    • Set Type to Standard
    • Set Is Sold to Yes
    • Set Inventory Track to No
    • Set all other settings to No
  7. Set the product price and tax rate to zero values.

  8. Select Save.
