Make a credit note product

Before staff can add a credit note product to an invoice, a practice manager must make the credit note product.

To make the product, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Products.

  3. Select + New product.

  4. Select Single product.

  5. Select Standard.

  6. In the Product Name box, enter a name for the product.

  7. If necessary, enter a product code in the Product Code box.
  8. In the Primary Group box, select an applicable product group for the product.

  9. In the Properties section, make the necessary settings.
    Note: These are the necessary settings:
    • Select Is Sold
    • Set Tracking Level to No
    • Select Included in staff sales figures
    • Clear all other settings of the Properties section
  10. Set the product price and tax rate to zero values.

  11. Select Save.
