Add a barcode to a product’s configuration

Before staff can use a barcode scanner with a product, a practice manager must add the barcode information to the product's configuration.

Make sure that you know the standard barcode format that you want to use.
To add a barcode, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Products.

    The left sidebar shows the configured product records of your site.
  3. Select the applicable product.
    ezyVet shows the product settings.
  4. Adjacent to Barcodes, select the plus button.

  5. In the Barcode box, enter the applicable code.

  6. In the Format box, enter the applicable standard barcode format.

  7. Select Add.

  8. Select the option button that is adjacent to the barcode entry.

  9. Select Save.

The product has the barcode.
