Configure a species record to automatically calculate body surface area
Staff can use the {AnimalBSA} template variable to show
the body surface area (BSA) of a patient. ezyVet uses a value
that a practice manager sets in the related species record to calculate the correct values
that the template variable shows.
Make sure that you know the constant (K) value of the body
surface area that you want to use.
- Select Admin.
- In the settings list, select Patients.
- Select Species.ezyVet shows the configured species records of your site.
- In the Body Surface Area Constant (K) box, enter the
applicable value.
