Species configuration

Set the maximum pain score for new species records

Staff can enter a pain score in applicable records of a clinical record. The pain score has a maximum value. ezyVet automatically shows the maximum value in dialog boxes of the applicable record. The maximum value shown has a relation with a species. A practice manager can configure the maximum pain score that ezyVet automatically uses for new species records.

To set the pain score, do this procedure.
Note: The result of this procedure is only applicable to species records that you make after you do this procedure. This procedure does not change the maximum pain score of species records that you made before you do this procedure.
Note: As an atlernative to this procedure, you can configure the maximum pain score for one species record. If you configure the pain score for one species record, the setting overrides the configuration given in this procedure. The pain score configured for a species record always overrides the pain score configured for an ezyVet site.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Settings.

  3. Select Clinical.

  4. In the Default Pain Score section, select the maximum value of the pain score.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet automatically uses maximum value of the pain score for new species records that you make.
