Disable a species record

If a species is not necessary to use with patient records, a practice manager can disable the species record.

Make sure that patient records do not use the species. If you disable a species record that patient records use, problems with other ezyVet functions can occur. A disabled species record shows [I] before the species name:
A disables species record
Note: To prevent the problems that a disabled species record could cause, you can merge a species record.
To disable a species, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Patients.
