Automatic record tagging

Record tagging is usually a manual task that has many steps. But a practice manager can configure ezyVet to do automatic tagging.

Record tagging is usually has these manual steps:
  1. The practice manager makes a tag category
  2. The practice manager or a person with the necessary permissions adds tags to the tag category
  3. The practice manager configures ezyVet to show the tag category in the applicable records
  4. Staff members set tags in the applicable records
To do automatic tagging, a practice manager configures a tagging task. A tagging task has many filters that control the conditions that ezyVet uses to automatically set a tag on a record. For example, if you regularly invoice clients for arthritis treatment of their patients, you can configure a related tagging task. The tagging task uses filters to automatically set an Arthritis tag in the patient records when invoiced. Thus, it is not necessary to manually set the tag in the patient records.
