Communication record statuses and icons

A communication record status tells you important information about a communication record and its related message. For example, the status could tell you if an SMS message did not send correctly. Each communication record status has a related icon.

This table gives each icon of a communication record status and the information that it identifies:
IconInformation identified
The Pending icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Pending status. Thus, ezyVet will not automatically send the applicable message. You must manually send it.
The Sending icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Sending status. Thus, the applicable message is prepared for ezyVet to automatically send it.
The Sent icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Done status. Thus, ezyVet sent the applicable message.
Note: If you hover over the communication record of an email message or an SMS message, ezyVet shows a pop-up window. The pop-up window could show Read:
Read text

The Read text tells you that the applicable email system or SMS system received the message and will send it to the applicable person. The Read text does not identify that the person opened and read the message.

The Opened icon of a communicationezyVet sent an applicable email message and a person received and opened it.
Note: This icon is applicable to email messages only.
The Failed icon of a communicationThe communication record has the Failed status. Thus, ezyVet did not send the applicable message because of a problem.
