About automatically locked clinical records

As an alternative to manually locked clinical records, you can configure ezyVet to automatically lock clinical records in a one-week period.

Important: An automatically locked clinical record is not the same as a record that is in a clinical record lockdown period. For information about the differences, refer to Locked clinical records and clinical record lockdown in About locked clinical records.

ezyVet always uses a one-week period to automatically lock clinical records. ezyVet uses the date of a clinical record to calculate when it automatically locks it.

The settings for automatically locked clinical records include an Auto Lock Offset value. The value controls the start and end date of the one-week period. The value always uses today’s date as the initial date.
