The Date column of invoice line items
The Date column is one of the columns that you can use show for invoice line items in the invoicing screen. The Date column can show different types of date information. The information shown is related to the products that you add to invoice line items and the products that you add to billing triggers. Thus, the Date column can help you know the completed dates of treatments and other types of clinical work.

An invoice line item can have more than one related source record. The related source records that the line item can have are a result of the steps that you do during clinical work. As a result, the Date column of the line item can show different information.
- You add a Therapeutic / Procedure record to a clinical record.
- You add a medication to the billing triggers of the Therapeutic / Procedure.
As a result of the first step, ezyVet makes a related line item in the applicable invoice. The Date column of the line item shows the date and time of the source Therapeutic / Procedure record.
- ezyVet adds the medication record to the source records of the line item
- ezyVet makes a Medication Prescription record in the source clinical record.
- If you change the date of the Therapeutic / Procedure record, the Date column of the line item shows the changed date and time
- If you change the date of the Therapeutic / Procedure record, the Medication Prescription record keeps the initial date and time
- If you change the date of the Medication Prescription record, the Date column of the line item does not show the changed date and time
Template variables for the Date column
The Twig template system has a {{ invoiceline.Date }} template variable that you can use with document templates for invoices. {{ invoiceline.Date }} shows the Date column information of invoice line items.
