After a practice manager makes a planning guide template, they can set it for a staff member. As a result, ezyVet automatically makes planning guide entries in the staff member's calendar.

1. Select Admin.
   
2. In the settings list, select Users/Resources.
   
3. Select Planning Guide Templates.
   
   ezyVet shows settings to make a planning guide template.
4. In the Name box, enter an applicable name for the template.
5. In the second line of checkboxes, select the days that you want the template to make planning guide entries in.

6. Use Start Time and End Time boxes to enter a time range for the template.
   Note: The time range controls the start time and end time for each day that the template makes a planning guide entry in.
7. In the Appointment Type box, select an applicable appointment type.
   
8. In the Repeat Freq. (weeks) box, enter an interval for the template.
   ExampleIf you enter a value of 2, ezyVet automatically sets the the planning guide template to an interval of two weeks from its start date.
9. In the End By box, enter an end date for the template.
10. Select Apply Template.
    
    ezyVet shows an Apply Planning Guide Template dialog box.
11. In the Resource box, select the calendar of the applicable staff member.
    
12. Select Confirm.
    ezyVet shows a confirmation message.

Open the applicable calendar and make sure that the planning guide entries as a result of the planning guide template are correct:
