Invoice approvals when product prices are less than cost prices
A product of an unapproved invoice can have a price that is less than the product’s
cost price. ezyVet has a user account permission that you can
use to control approval of an invoice that has this condition. If a staff member does not
have the permission, they cannot approve the invoice.
The applicable user account permission is Financial > Sell Below Cost:
ezyVet has a system setting that controls the function of the Financial > Sell Below Cost user account permission. The system setting is Have Minimum Markup
Check:
If you set Have Minimum Markup Check to No,
ezyVet shows the Financial > Sell Below Cost permission in the Permissions tab of a staff member’s user
account. But if you set Have Minimum Markup Check to
Yes:
ezyVet does not show the Financial > Sell Below Cost permission in the staff member's user account settings
Shows a % Minimum Markup Required box in the staff
member's user account settings

Use the % Minimum Markup Required box to enter the minimum markup
percentage that a product must have before the staff member can approve the invoice.
